Course summary
This course will provide students with the opportunity to realise their potential through photographic practices. This will include contemporary explorations as well as historical understanding, all with relevant vocational contextualisation through a range of genres and investigations into the methods and processes required to succeed across multiple photographic disciplines In regards to teaching, the Photography lecturer is a successful working photographer in his own right, critically acclaimed and with a photography book published by an international arts publisher. With him comes experience working across multiple disciplines and processes. The lecturer also brings a range of networks for the industry and has strong links to major retailer studios in the local area. There is a healthy range of industry speakers and contacts available for external involvement and progressions. Visit to The Photography and Video Show at NEC to review latest tech, processes and speakers. Visit to local major retailers studio with potential for work placement. Portfolio review with industry professionals.
