Course summary
This course provides you with the computational, mathematical, and business views of cloud computing. After successfully completing the course you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the theoretical and applied side of cloud computing. This programme is designed to give you the opportunity to: Plan, manage and deliver significant cloud computing-based projects, resulting in a high-quality research output through a dissertation Investigate and develop cloud computing projects within the confines of the ethical, social and professional context of cloud computing To equip you with key concepts in cloud computing; such as IAAS, PAAS & SAAS Gain advanced theoretical and specialist practical knowledge of progressive and emerging topics including DevOps, virtualisation, software-defined network Create innovative solutions through the integration of a range of standard and specialised cloud computing tools/technologies Develop the professional skills necessary for a senior career in the IT industry.

Assessment method
We'll assess you through a combination of coursework and exams. Coursework will include presentations, software demonstrations, research-based assignments and practical exercises involving system or program specification, coding and testing. Accepted Qualifications Bachelor's degree with minimum Second Class (2:2) in Computer Science (or equivalent degree with significant maths and computing content).
