Year 1 - Academic and Vocational Skills; Essential Plant and Soil Science; Principles and Practices of Turfgrass Management (double module). Year 2 - Turfgrass Growth and Development; Performance Management of Sportsturf Surfaces; Integrated Pest Management; Sportsturf Surface Construction and Drainage Systems. Year 3 - Research Methods; Environmental Plant Physiology; Industry Project; Environmental Management and Sustainability.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

Normally 5 GCSEs Including Maths and English (or equivalents) are required, however, applicants are advised to check with the University Centre if they do not possess the specific qualifications. The University Centre may consider applicants with work experience within a relevant industry in place of some qualifications. Applicants who believe they may be eligible for Accreditation of Prior Certificated and/or Experiential Learning (APCL/APEL) will be considered on an individual basis.
