Course summary
Prepare to make your mark on the world stage as a future business leader with enhanced business language skills. Do you want to work for a company in an international market? Or perhaps find out more about how organisations operate on the world stage? This degree course will provide you with the toolkit for your international journey. Get equipped with the professional and industry-relevant foreign language vocabulary you need in a specialist module at each level of study. Dedicated language tutors will support you in small groups, whether you are a complete beginner or have more advanced language skills. You will benefit from real-life work experience throughout your studies. Enjoy learning from industry speakers, global examples and business simulations. Develop fundamental management skills in marketing, people and organisations, and finance. You’ll translate this to the wider world and gain a solid understanding of the international business environment; globalisation, cultural variation and the challenges of different geographical, political and economic factors are addressed. Throughout the course you will develop your linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness in a business context with business vocabulary. You have the option to undertake a five-week, or even a year-long placement, and you will carry out an original research project into a subject you select.
