Course summary

With the opportunity to work alongside experts from the Criminal Justice System and emergency services, choosing Greenwich gives you a head-start for careers in forensic sciences. Our Forensic and Digital investigation programme will give you a solid grounding in both forensic science and digital forensics. Taught by industry experts with years of practical experience, you will gain a hands-on understanding of each discipline and how they combine to help solve real-life criminal investigations. A typical day could see you employing the latest digital technologies and programming languages alongside investigating specialist forensic techniques such as blood pattern analysis, homicide investigation or Disaster Victim Identification. Get two strings to your bow by joining the programme which gives you the skills, forensic and digital employers have been wanting for years. Graduates will be well qualified to pursue careers in areas of criminal justice, private and public companies and government and non-governmental organisations.   • We offer vehicle crime scenes, flexible interior crime scenes, and extensive grounds and woodland for exterior searching/mock-crime scenarios
  • This course is taught at our Medway Campus in Chatham Maritime, Kent with one day a week at our Greenwich Campus.

Entry requirements

Qualification requirements

We make Contextual offers to this programme. Applicants that meet specific eligibility criteria will be made a contextual offer with a reduced tariff of up to 16 UCAS Tariff points. Other entry requirements such as GCSEs, Interview, etc., will still need to be met. For further information, please see our Contextual Admissions policy. We also accept a combination of different level 3 qualifications provided they meet the subject requirements and overall tariff requirements.
