Course summary

BA (Hons) Philosophy, Politics and Economics is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to be an effective and critical leader in a variety of careers in the public and private sectors. We will encourage you to disrupt orthodox approaches to political, philosophical, and economic issues, and to address, in an innovative and challenging way, the complexities of today’s environmental, social, and economic issues. Taught by academic and research experts from the School of History, Politics and Philosophy and the triple-crown accredited Business School, the course explores underrepresented theories, thinkers, and approaches, giving you an interdisciplinary educational experience that fosters a critical perspective on contemporary economic and political challenges. We’ve partnered with various external organisations to design real-world learning experiences and assessments, giving you the opportunity to apply your knowledge to pressing issues such as human rights, race, gender, and sustainability.
