Our Multimedia Journalism BA(Hons) is designed to prepare you for an exciting career in TV news, radio, podcasting, social media – or all these areas. Like society and technology, these industries are constantly changing, and we’ll give you the best possible grounding to succeed in the future. You’ll build your creative and technical skills in video and audio journalism and make the most of online and social tools. Meanwhile, by analysing the media and how we use it today, you’ll better understand 21st Century journalism. Assessment method
Our degrees seek to develop your creative, technical and analytical skills, and every aspect of your learning is designed to help you succeed in the media, creative and cultural sectors. We thus work with a wide variety of teaching formats which alongside lectures, seminars and workshops, include news days, work-based learning and placements, project work, dissertations, one-on-one and group supervision, and digital learning. We continuously review and innovate teaching formats to reflect changing technologies and industry contexts.
