Course summary
Combine two key areas of business – and prepare for a successful future career – with our BA Accounting and Management with Year Abroad degree. This multidisciplinary degree equips you with the fundamental concepts of the accounting disciplines, together with in-depth understanding of business management. You'll examine a range of issues from this dual perspective, exploring the interrelationships between both professions with an international emphasis. Certain modules on this degree are accredited with professional bodies, including:
- the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
- the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
- the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
Modules
The following modules have been approved in principle for delivery in 2025/26. Please note that as part of our current curriculum improvement process, all modules require final University approval and may be subject to change. Core modules for this course: Developing Professional Excellence; Law and Business; Management Information; Business Finance; Advanced International Finance Reporting. The University cannot guarantee that all optional modules will be available to all students who may wish to take them.
