You may need time to decide where your interests lie. If so, then our BA Global Communication with Business Management with a Foundation Year is the perfect choice. Our foundation year is an intensive and exciting year of interdisciplinary study. You’ll explore a range of interrelated academic humanities subjects. And you’ll develop a unique toolkit of essential study, language, and communication skills. UEA’s Interdisciplinary Institute for the Humanities provides a supportive and rewarding learning environment. We’ll encourage you to identify and work towards your own individual learning goals. You'll have the opportunity to study a new language alongside a range of academic subjects, including Literature, History, Philosophy, Film, and Politics. Through studying topics, such as power, culture and media, we’ll help you make connections with your interest in global communication studies, sparking your curiosity. During your foundation year, you’ll have access to all the opportunities and resources that UEA has to offer. You could learn about the language and values of another country to hone your intercultural communication. Or you could make the most of our on-campus media facilities. As you develop your own academic interests and passions, you’ll then be well-placed to progress onto the degree that’s the best fit for you. After successfully completing your foundation year, you’ll move straight onto BA Global Communications with Business Management degree. Alternatively, you can request to transfer onto one of a selection of other undergraduate courses within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, subject to taking the required prerequisite modules. Additional fee information

Tuition fees increase annually for all students in subsequent years of study. Any fee increase is based on the fee for the year that you register. Home undergraduate fees, whose rates are regulated by the UK Government, will be amended in line with any alteration advised by the UK Government. Fees not regulated by the UK Government will increase by a maximum of 4% or RPI-X whichever is the higher. RPI-X is the Retail Prices Index excluding mortgage interest.
