For working in big pharma, it’s everything you need it to be. Chemists have been instrumental in ridding the world of killer diseases and developing drugs that improve the lives and outcomes for millions of people worldwide. As a medicinal chemist, you’ll be at the forefront of this battle as you discover how chemicals and drugs work. This course focuses on how chemicals and drugs work in a biological environment. It starts with a broad introduction to organic, inorganic, physical and analytical chemistry before specialising in medicinal chemistry. This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
