During your first year, you will study a Level 4 HNC. Upon successful completion of the first year, you will then progress on to the second year to study the Level 5 HND. Assessment method
Assessment is via course work which includes written assignments, reports, practical projects, presentations, case studies, time-constrained assessments, group work, and peer assessments. The assessment of Pearson's Higher National qualifications are criterion-referenced and you will provide evidence in the form of assignments, which are assessed against the unit learning outcomes and assessment criteria.

UCAS Tariff - 48 points
In order to study the Computing HND Level 5, you will need to have successfully completed a Level 3 qualification in a related subject, or Access to Higher Education qualification, or an A Level equivalent (minimum 48 UCAS points) in related subjects; and GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 and/or minimum IELTS score of 6. Relevant work experience may be considered if you do not meet the above criteria. If you have successfully completed a Level 4 qualification in Computing or a related subject, you may be considered to study this course as a 1 year Top-up course.
