Course summary

The BA Hons in Architecture is a studio-based, full-time course delivered over three academic years. There is an exit qualification of an Associated Bachelors (AB) after two academic years, with a further one academic year for BA Hons completion. The course is validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects and is prescribed by the Architects Registration Board. Successful completion of the course offers exception from RIBA Part 1 examinations.

English language requirements for international applicants The minimum requirement for this course is Academic IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5. Trinity ISE: Pass at level III also meets this requirement for Tier 4 visa purposes. Ulster recognises a number of other English language tests and comparable IELTS equivalent scores.
