How do global markets work and how do they influence the way that companies respond to competition? What’s behind the big economic decisions of governments and business organisations? In this specialist route available in our BA (Honours) Business Management (Q91) degree, you will develop an interdisciplinary perspective on the management of business organisations and build specialised knowledge and skills in economic theories and practices. On completion of your degree, you will be equipped with the necessary skills to use and apply economic principles and theories to workplace and global environments, and will acquire a wide range of transferable management skills. Modules
This degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits. You’ll study a 60-credit introductory business and management module.Thereafter, for your remaining 300 credits, you'll combine the study of business and management with key economic theories and policies.
