On this postgraduate programme, you’ll study to become a highly skilled and future-facing facilities manager. Course Topics This programme will take you through a transformational learning experience developed and delivered by practitioners who inspire you to reach your goals. To be a successful leader in facilities management, you need insights from differing professional and sector perspectives. You’ll gain this knowledge, skills and expertise across two core modules which provide an integrated learning experience. You’ll explore topics such as strategy, leadership, projects, and asset management. You can also develop specialist knowledge in areas such as sustainability and digital technology. Applied learning We think the best way to learn something is to do it in the real world. Our knowledge-applied approach to learning focuses strongly on learning from experience in the business world. Live Projects We bring the 'real' business world into your learning experience by using live case studies linked to accessible organisations – and by applying concepts, theories and research to your own organisation. This means you can make your learning a truly relevant and meaningful experience. Networking Opportunities During the course you’ll be able to develop shared learning, business contacts and networking opportunities through your workplace experiences, peers, teaching staff and industry experts. You’ll collaborate with other facilities management professionals on the course. Together, you’ll reflect on challenges, share ideas and innovate new solutions. You’ll also be encouraged to attend networking events from leading organisations, such as The Institute of Leadership and Management. Guest Lectures You’ll be able to attend guest lectures from business leaders and senior managers – who provide unique insights into business and facilities management.

Entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline and have at least 2 years of full-time professional work experience. Applicants with a lower degree classification and/or relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
