Course summary
This programme will teach you about the main issues around health, social care and wellbeing within the UK and on a global basis. You will study the key contemporary issues that affect health and social care and the wellbeing of individuals and communities from a theoretical, policy and practical level and gain a detailed knowledge of health and social care policy and practice. You will enjoy talks from guest speakers such as NHS professionals, social workers, probation officers and charities. You will also experience visits to places such as hospitals, prisons, courts and museums. What next? You could progress onto numerous areas within health and social care, advance in your current role or continue studying at a higher level.
