Course summary

Studying a Masters in the field of Motorsport Engineering will enable you to develop the specific expertise required in the design, development, engineering and optimisation of competition vehicles. The course has a good mix of theoretical and practical taught elements as well as excellent Motorsport specific project opportunities, Motorsport specific assignment work and modules which cover a wide range of Motorsport and Automotive related subjects while still enabling the student to tailor their study to their own needs and career aspirations.

Assessment method

Assessment is undertaken in a wide range of formats from the traditional examination and coursework, to more ‘industrial’ based assessment methods such as track-side field work, workshop based tasks, computer software based assessments and oral examinations and group seminars.


Entry requirements

We normally require an Honours degree of 2:1 or above classification in an appropriate based discipline.
