The BA (Hons) Practical Filmmaking (Two-Year) course prepares the next generation of screen creatives. It builds creative and technical skills essential to succeed in today’s film, television, and new media industries. The following tests are satisfactory to demonstrate this: IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge PET, ESOL Skills for Life Level 1 and 2, Trinity Level 1. IELTS – BA (Hons) Practical Filmmaking: Students need to achieve an IELTS overall score of at least 6.0 with at least 5.5 in writing, listening, reading and speaking.

If you have studied a different English Language qualification, please send details to the admissions team and we will confirm if it can be accepted. Applicants that need a student visa to study will be required to have taken a UKVI approved qualification, achieving the minimum requirements. Full details can be viewed on our website.
