The Strategic Leadership MSc develops current and future business leaders with the strategic skills, insight and resilience to lead in a global context. The Strategic Leadership MSc is a part-time, flexible, work-based programme. It's delivered using a blended learning model. You'll have monthly one day study blocks on campus during teaching time. This will still allow you to study flexibly around your commitments. Through the programme, you will gain the skills to become a leader in your workplace. Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Throughout the duration of the MSc, you will become an ‘Affiliate’ member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). This will give you access to a range of membership support and resources. When you graduate, you'll receive a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Management and Leadership. This gives you the potential to achieve full Chartered Manager Status (CMgr), subject to meeting professional and work experience requirements. Delivery and teaching methods Blended learning: Under normal circumstances, it is delivered using a blended learning model with monthly one-day study blocks on campus, during teaching time. In advance of study block attendance, you'll engage individually and collectively with the programme and module-specific blended learning materials and resources. Virtual learning: Your engagement with the learning activities will be supported and enhanced by our modern and intuitive virtual learning environment, Canvas. Canvas is a web-based system that does not need to be installed on your computer. Canvas runs on: Windows Mac Linux iOS Android any other device with a modern web browser In line with the Government guidance and University response to COVID-19 in 2020, we modified the design to facilitate the programme primarily through our Virtual Learning Environment, Canvas. Our delivery plan enables us to respond quickly to any changes in Government guidance and restrictions. Entry requirements
A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in any subject. Applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and relevant industrial experience will be considered on an individual basis. International Students: To study this course you need to meet our Band 6 English Language requirements. Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-skills). If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a Pre-sessional English course. Our typical English Language requirements are listed as IELTS scores but we also accept a wide range of English Language tests.
