You will be equipped for a variety of roles in health promotion and public health, working for local authorities, health services or in the voluntary sector. Led by a committed team of academics and specialists in the field, you will be introduced to the 'social' model of health rather than the predominant 'medical' model, enabling you to focus on how people and communities can be empowered to improve their health and how public policy can create healthier societies.
