This fully online programme empowers educators and professional service staff working in education to critically and ethically integrate AI into inclusive pedagogies and practice. You'll gain practical tools and leadership skills to support diverse learners, especially those with SEND and within marginalised groups, through action research and real-world application. This innovative PgCert is designed for educators, school leaders, and professionals seeking to harness generative AI to enhance inclusivity and leadership in education. You'll critically evaluate AI technologies, conduct action research, and explore AI-enhanced strategies for supporting learners with special educational needs, disability and those in marginalised groups. Delivered fully online over 12 months, the course is structured around two 30-credit modules. The first, Applied Generative AI for Equitable and Inclusive Pedagogy, focuses on the practical application of AI to support SEND learners and those in marginalised groups through personalised learning and inclusive practices. The second, Emerging Horizons in Educational AI: Ethics, Integration, and Leadership, explores ethical frameworks, responsible AI use, and leadership strategies to promote social justice and equitability in education. The course provides flexibility for students to tailor their assessments to their professional context and interests, with practical outputs including an action research project and a critical evaluation report.
