Course summary
Robots and automated machines never get tired. They can work 24 hours a day, in hazardous places and are much more accurate and consistent than any human. The exciting world of mechatronics and automation engineering has the important task of bringing these machines to life, maintaining them, fixing them when they malfunction and designing and building new models. This course provides you with a broad introduction to the issues encountered and techniques required in developing advanced mechatronic products and automation systems. This course trains you to: lead mechatronic and automation product development, contribute as team members to future mechatronic product development, provide expertise as mechatronic “specialists”.
