Course summary

How do diseases spread, and how can we protect communities? Understanding infection and immunity is key to saving lives. This course explores pathogenesis, virulence mechanisms, and the science behind vaccines, antibiotics, and immunotherapy. Gain the skills to combat global health challenges and develop life-saving treatments. You will be involved in research that covers five key themes:

  • Pathogen biology and genomic
  • Diagnostics
  • Immunology and pathophysiology
  • Therapeutics and vaccinology
  • clinical and tropical infection.
