Accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), our Construction Project Management BSc(Hons) course provides the first step to becoming a qualified construction project manager. The degree has been developed to work alongside our Architecture, Architectural Technology and Quantity Surveying courses, to help you develop a strong understanding of professionalism and collaboration within the construction industry. Two crucial tools for today’s construction managers are Lean Construction and BIM. Lean Construction focuses on delivering minimum cost and maximum value for a construction project, looking at how the process of design, construction and end-use of a building is managed. BIM enhances Lean Construction, giving construction project managers digital tools to manage projects. On the course, you’ll explore both areas to understand how you could deliver better value to clients. Why Study Construction Project Management BSc(Hons) at University of Huddersfield?
