Course summary

This BSc Economics and Business degree is ideal if you are interested in studying economics with a focus on management and business. It will give you a strong understanding of economics and business while developing your ability to apply this knowledge to a range of real-world situations. It allows you to build your level of quantitative competence, and if you have not studied maths for some time, we offer short refresher courses which can be taken prior to the start of the degree. Many employers require graduates who are able to clearly state and analyse problems while suggesting realistic strategies and solutions. This course will provide you with these essential skills and so prepare you for a range of jobs in both the private and public sectors. If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree. This course has an evening timetable with lectures, seminars and classes taking place in the evening. Highlights
