PROGRAMME STRUCTURE Public Health students at the University of Glasgow benefit from learning within a research-intense environment, with staff working in various areas linked to Public Health. Students will engage with learning activities specifically developed for online learning. You will connect with other students in discussion activities, and undertake a variety of assessments including essays, reports, practical skills coursework and presentations. Taken on a part-time basis, the duration of this programme is 2.5 to 6 years, depending on the credential obtained. Masters in Public Health (MPH) MPH students take three core courses, three optional courses, and a supervised 60 credit, self-directed research project. Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate Learners may decide to undertake a shorter qualification in Public Health. The Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health requires students to take the three core courses for the degree, plus an additional three optional courses. Students must take 120 credits in total. The Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health requires students to take two core courses (Introduction to epidemiology and statistics and Principles of public health), plus one additional 20 credit course from optional. Students must take 60 credits in total. Throughout each course you will be assessed in a variety of ways which could include essays, discussions, blogs, online presentations, interactive quizzes, assignments or group work. Details of these assignments are found in your induction. The duration of this programme is 2.5 years to 6 years taken on a part-time basis. Entry requirements

2.1 Hons (or non-UK equivalent) in any degree with a science focus, including Health Science, Medicine, Social and Public Policy, or Statistics. We may sometimes accept degrees at 2.2 Hons or non-UK equivalent. We may also accept applicants with significant relevant work experience in addition to lower qualifications. We may also accept non-relevant degrees where the applicant has evidence of paid or unpaid relevant Public Health experience at a professional level.
