Learn to produce art-related assets for computer games. You’ll develop core skills and industry-standard practice in modelling, texturing and animation. You’ll learn to work with a core set of tools: Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush and Unreal® Engine 4. You’ll also hear regular talks from industry experts and have the opportunity to do work for genuine clients. OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES We encourage you to enter competitions and showcase your work at our annual Games Expo, which attracts leading UK gaming companies. To give yourself the edge, choose to take the year in industry too. CAREERS AND EMPLOYABILITY The computer games industry is one of the largest and fastest growing entertainment industries in the world so your employment prospects should be good. You will graduate from Computer Games Modelling and Animation with the skills to create and animate 3D art in a real-time environment using the latest techniques. This means you’ll be suitable for a range of specialised 3D art roles, not only in computer games but in the film and visualisation industries too.

UCAS Tariff 120 points Your offer will be based on your predicted grades from your core A2s (full A levels), BTEC Diploma etc. We will accept up to 16 points towards the total from level 3 qualifications such as AS (where those AS levels are not taken on to A2 level), the Extended Project, or Music qualifications.  We usually consider an A Level in General Studies as a supplementary qualification. A good application/performance will be taken into account if you do not meet the criteria / offer.
