You’ll discover key aspects of consumer behaviour, digital marketing, marketing, product management and creative strategy. You will study a variety of topics that cover the fundamental aspects of Fashion Marketing and you will have the opportunity to tailor your course to your interests by choosing some of your modules. Assessment method
You’ll learn through a mix of lectures, seminars, individual and group tutorials, workshops and private study. You’ll gain practical digital and fashion styling skills, and experience of writing strategic reports and business plans, alongside your contextual and theoretical knowledge. The curriculum also includes guest lectures, live briefs and optional study visits to leading fashion brands in the UK and overseas. Alongside your subject-specific knowledge, you’ll develop superb research, critical analysis, team working and communication skills that will prove invaluable as your career progresses. You’ll be assessed on your coursework, which may take the form of written work with supporting visual portfolios, essays, marketing plans, illustrated business reports, creative formats such as film, image and editorial, and your final project.

We welcome applicants with other qualifications eg. European Baccalaureate. You will be expected to attain an A level equivalent standard. The University of Southampton requires all applicants to achieve at least a Grade 4 in English and Mathematics GCSEs (taken in England) or a Grade C in both subjects (where taken in Northern Ireland or Wales). Some degree subjects stipulate specific additional GCSE minimum grades, which will be specified as part of the individual degree programme entry requirements.
