This course covers the art, design and technical knowhow behind well-crafted games. You'll learn to make games that entertain, tell amazing stories and even help people. Staying connected with the games industry across the course, we'll help you build the skills and creative mindset needed to land your first pro role. You’ll dissect games, design games and develop games - moving through a range of styles from hypercasual mobile puzzlers to story-driven VR adventures. You'll explore why and how people play games, and crucially, what makes a game fun to play. This happens through challenges and projects, with each building your confidence and ability to take a game from an initial idea to a releasable product.
