Industry-links** During your time on the MSc Engineering Management programme, you’ll be taught by a dedicated team of academics, with extensive industry and research experience and knowledge. The course curriculum is designed in consultation with the College's Industry Advisory Board (IAB), whereby industry experts ensured its relevance to current market needs. Our campus is perfectly placed for us to stay connected. Not only are we centred in the heart of Buckinghamshire, we are also only 30 minutes away from London and Oxford. As well as this we are lucky to have industry-leading companies right on our doorstep. This includes Formula 1 motorsport businesses at the Silverstone Technology Cluster and space related industries at the Westcott Space Cluster. BNU engineering students could have the opportunity to link with some of these high-tech industries. As part of the College of Creative Arts, Technology and Engineering you'll benefit from our academic partnership CABE (Chartered Association of Building Engineers). Facilities During your time on the course you’ll have access to our state-of-the-art and brand-new Engineering and the Built Environment facilities, including; Mechanical/Structural Lab, to include different Structural Test kits that will measure Deflection of Beams & Cantilevers, Bending Stress and Bending Moments etc. Materials and Manufacturing Lab, to include 3D Metal Printer, Hardness Tester, Universal Tensile Testing, Impact Tester, Milling and Drill machines Fluids and Hydraulics Lab, to include Digital Hydraulic Bench, Axial Flow Pump, Recirculating Flume, Hydro-electric Turbine and Surface Tension Balance. Process and Energy Lab to include HVAC unit, Air Conditioning Trainer, Process Trainer, Wind Turbine Dynamics and Photovoltaic Cells Concrete & Geotechnical Testing Lab, to include Slump Test, Concrete Density, Porosity, Flexural and Compression Testing, Soil Shear, Grading and Moisture Tests. Electrical and Electronics Lab, to include Power and Energy Electronics, Modern Electrical Machine Systems, Three Phase Power Systems Automation Lab to include Dobot Smart Industry 4.0 Workstation, pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, PLC systems Immersive Virtual Reality Lab to include 3D interactive screen for virtual learning environment CAD Lab to include high spec computers for engineering design and simulation Study Options This programme runs as both a full-time and part-time course, with part-time structured across a two-year span, so you can fit it around your other commitments outside of study. Entry requirements

An appropriate engineering or science undergraduate degree (2:2 or above) or an equivalent professional qualification or significant industrial and professional experience. If English is not your first language, you will also need an IELTS score of 6.5 overall or equivalent. Please note every application is considered on an individual basis.

Buckinghamshire New University tuition fees cover the cost of instruction, assessment, and core academic materials. However, additional costs may be incurred for course-related items or requirements, such as, but not limited to: - Text books and supplementary reading materials - Specialised equipment or resources required for specific courses - Field trips, placements, or external activities - Printing, photocopying, and binding - Accommodation, travel, and living expenses Additional costs will vary by course. Sponsorship information

There are several ways you can fund your studies, including sponsorship and student loans. You may be able to use ELCAS credits for some of our courses. We also have scholarships and bursaries to help support our students, and if you’re a recent BNU graduate, you may even qualify for a fee discount on your postgraduate studies.
