This will include industry visits, guest talks and discussions with experts, as well as having the opportunity to undertake industry-recognised qualifications such as PRINCE 2. This approach enables hands-on experience, allowing you to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios, bridging the gap between classroom learning and professional practice. Your experiential learning will also be supported by having access to a range of real-world projects and scenarios. These can include: case studies and simulations, allowing you to explore complex project management scenarios in a controlled environment, supporting the development of critical thinking and decision-making skills; collaboration learning, by working on group projects that mimic real-world project teams, which help you develop teamworking and communication skills, and industry engagement, through workshops and networking opportunities, that provide you with insights into current industry practices and trends. The teaching on the programme will be delivered in a research-led learning environment, in which you will be provided with the most up-to-date knowledge. This approach ensures that the programme remains relevant and equips you with the knowledge, skills and attributes required for project management, as it continually evolves. You will be taught by academic staff that are leaders in their field, and who will be joined at times by guest lecturers from academia and industry, who bring the latest findings from research and practice into the classroom.
