Course Overview The way that we learn and develop as children underpins our entire lifespan and lies at the heart of our Education and Psychology with Foundation Year course. Why study with us
- There’s an opportunity to undertake a placement in an educational setting at each stage of our programme.
- You’ll study in our state-of-the-art Psychology Building, with a specialist video child observation suite and cognitive laboratories.
- Gain international work experience through our Centre for Volunteering and Community Leadership (CVCL).
- You’ll come away with the skills required to enhance a child’s development and enable teachers to become more aware of the social factors affecting learning.
- Participate in staff research projects, present to research conferences, or work as a part-time research assistant.
- Our School of Psychology contains over 30 laboratories including many designated for student use in new, purpose-built facilities.
